Who are Regional Reps and Co-Reps?
Regional Reps and Co-Reps are members of OKAPT who serve as a Representative or Co-Representative in their immediate area. The reason for two Reps in an area is to lighten the load and develop a link to continue the services in each area.
What is required of Regional Reps and Co-Reps?
Regional Reps and Co-Reps will be responsible for coordinating six Lunch & Learn Sessions in their area. They will select the location, time, and speaker. Lunch & Learns are Play Therapy Trainings for an hour Play Therapy C.E.U. (currently the budget cannot fund additional licensure C.E.U.’s).
When will Reps schedule Lunch & Learn Sessions?
Fall Lunch & Learn Sessions will be held in September, October, and November. Spring sessions are held during February, March, and April.
Where will Reps advertise the Lunch & Learns?
Information will be included in our newsletter, on our website, and emailed to individuals and agencies.
Why have Reps and Lunch & Learns?
Reps will provide a useful link for services within your community and Lunch & Learns provide RPT’s with an opportunity to meet the yearly requirement of 12 C.E.U.’s (6 C.E.U.’s – Lunch & Learn and 6 C.E.U.’s – Annual Conference).
How can you become a Regional Rep or Co-Rep?
If you are interested in coordinating six Play Therapy Trainings in your area (location, date, time, & speaker) and are a member of OKAPT, contact OKAPT and we’ll help get you set up.
